They hate what they can't control, including your thoughts

The transparency and weakness of intellect of the left is obvious. Suddenly they argue against consentual government, individual rights, and any other sort of human advancement which doesn’t require ministerial management. They would sooner dismiss the value of political and religious freedom rather than admit to a positive outcome of anyone they oppose politically. They seem incapable of grasping abstract concepts as basic as this:


Because belief springs from freedom, it is a particularly opaque phenomenon - the conjunction of certainty and uncertainty. “Mental Unrest” in spite of unconditional assent: cum assensione cogitare. Belief does not still, but kindles desire - In firm contact with reality nevertheless.
